Tertianum offers the right apprenticeship to suit you, your individual needs and personal wishes whether you have just finished school or are interested in completing a second apprenticeship. You can choose from 200 apprenticeships in 15 different professions throughout Switzerland.

Broad selection of apprenticeships

With Tertianum, you can choose from roughly 15 different apprenticeships at various locations throughout Switzerland. You will generally meet other apprentices, which is a valuable opportunity to learn from each other.

Exciting events

We organize unique events for you to enjoy during your apprenticeship. This includes an introduction day, the summer camp and your graduation ceremony, where we come together to duly celebrate you and recognize your achievements.

Further training opportunities

After your apprenticeship, we offer a wide range of different training opportunities both internally and externally to advance your professional development.

1. Short pre-apprenticeship

Completing a short pre-apprenticeship at Tertianum will give you an insight into our exciting day-to-day work. You will join experienced staff as they go about their daily tasks and get to know our residences or residential and care centres. You will experience firsthand what it means to work in this area. Simply contact your chosen Tertianum site to find out if work experience is offered on site.

2. Application

We tell you here how to get one of Tertianum’s much sought-after apprenticeships. The perfect candidate will be someone who loves people and does not shy away from contact with the elderly.

Please submit an up-to-date CV with photo including any certificates and examination results, for example from the "Multicheck" test.

We would also be delighted to receive a cover letter, in which you can explain why you are particularly interested in the apprenticeship in question.

Introduction day: The special start to your apprenticeship

Every year, roughly 200 apprentices embark on a new chapter in their lives at Tertianum. To make this start as pleasant as possible, we host an introductory day exclusively for apprentices. You will be able to familiarise yourself with initial aspects of the apprenticeship and get to know other apprentices from a wide range of regions and professions.

Summer camp: Time for an adventure, fun and friendships

One year before you complete your apprenticeship, you will have the chance to meet apprentices from all Tertianum establishments and specialist areas at the very popular summer camp. Dive into memorable moments where you will have the opportunity to interact, get to know and share your experiences with the other apprentices. An event you will not forget!

Graduation: Celebrating your success together

Once you have completed your training successfully, we look back on your apprenticeship at Tertianum. At our graduation ceremony, we raise a glass to salute your achievements and celebrate with our vocational trainers and the other apprentices. We hope that you will be a part of this special occasion.
